P!nk, I was hoping it wasn't going to be this way, but I was afraid it was. I am glad he contacted you. I hope maybe he posts at least one time for all of us. He will always have a special place in my heart. Such a wonderful, giving person. I hope his journey is peaceful and painless. I hope he feels our love and energy reaching out to him.

I would hate not to know what was going on, so for that, I thank you and him.

P!nk thank you for letting us know how things are with Pro. I'm very sad that things are not good and I certainly understand why he might not want to share the details with us. Please let him know that he and his family are in my prayers. I'll always remember fondly the crazy posts that flew back and forth in the early days of the forum....the simplest typo or double entendre would send everyone into fits of laughter! Those were fun times. Pro was the only man who felt comfortable enough with all us women to stick around and post. I miss him.

I was really devastated when I got a text from P!nk. I guess we all thought it could happen in the back of our minds but we never wanted to face it. Why is it always the good ones!?!?! He was such a well rounded individual with a heart of gold. Perhaps he earned his right to go home.

Jane just told me the news on chat tonight. I was so afraid this was going to happen. When he didn't respond for so long just had a feeling that it wasn't good news. It just seems so unfair to have this happen to such a wonderful human being.

I'm so glad Jane got to name a pup Proteus Aztecs.

Good morning all.

Posting a little late since we had an ergonomic presentation today at work. Very interesting. We are also able to get an ergonomic evaluation of our stations. We are all pretty bad here and our chairs are the worst.

On kat chat last night, we discussed the news about Pro. I refuse right now to act like he's already gone. I will have to post the link to my picture of Proteus Aztecs.

I guess I don't have much more to say today. Kinda doesn't feel right to just yammer on about mundane things.

I do, however, want to know what car P!nk got.

Still feeling down about Pro and breaking the news. I was hard to know and not say anything but I had to respect his privacy. SG, you did me a favor by noticing my fb comment. I don't really go to other peoples walls, just post on mine own or a comment I feel is relevant. I just hope the Quirkies respect his wishes and don't email him or try to contact him. I gave him my word and I don't want to look like I've betrayed it. I think I will make a post there just to be sure his wishes are crystal clear. I'm sure they understand...but you never know.

My sister has her surgery on her liver next Wed to chop out the thyroid cancer. I ask for prayers for her. She goes the following weekend to see specialists in thyroid cancer at John Hopkins in Baltimore. They are the best hospital with cutting edge R&D on it so she'll be seeing the best team in the states. We were supposed to go to a concert together the following Saturday after surgery but it can't happen now. We're still going, will take her son and a friend but it also gives us a chance to see her after her surgery. She'll be home either that Friday or Saturday.

Jane, I am still down a car. Jeff keeps working on Sunday, it's OT but I told him it's ridiculous already. He knows not to complain when he doesn't have a ride to work. He needs to be with me when we make this purchase. If he doesn't make the time soon I'm going with a friend an just get a car and he'll have no say. My car in my name and he can just drive the Hyundai which is also in my name.

Anyway, we remember Pro, his heart of gold and quick wit. His love and pride in his daughters in which his legacy will live on. If I hear any new news, I will let you know.

I hope your sis' operation goes well. Johns Hopkins is a very good facility. My dad worked there for quite a while, it was the reason we moved to Baltimore.

Please let Pro know I'm thinking about him as well. I would love to hear from him.

Pink, I will keep your sister in my thoughts as she prepares for surgery.
I didn't see what you had posted on Pro's Facebook page, just saw on the main page that you had commented on his status. when I clicked on his name it took me to his page that had all the funny photos of that weird dude with the makeup and piercings. I thought maybe you had found someone else with his same name by mistake! I should have recognized Pro's sense of humor there!

P!nk, I don't know how you guys have survived this long with only one car but at this time there seems to be so much more important things to worry about.

I will definitely keep her in my prayers and wish for the best. Thank goodness she is going to a specialist!!!!

Of course, Jane, it's not already gone. P!nk said that he has heard this news before and survived so there is some hope. Besides, he'll never be gone. He will live on inside of us all!!!!!

Seems like we all don't have much to say and nor do I. Seems like anything upsetting me is just trivial. Not that anything (except this) is upsetting me.

It's just so sad.....
